At The Sort, we believe your data belongs to you. If you have used Facebook Login to access The Sort, this page explains what information we hold and exactly how to request its permanent deletion.

What We Collect via Facebook Login

When you sign in to The Sort using Facebook, we may receive the following information from Facebook, subject to the permissions you granted:

  1. Your name

  2. Your email address

  3. Your Facebook user ID

  4. Your profile photo (if permission was granted)

We do not access your Facebook posts, friends list, messages, or any other Facebook data beyond what is listed above.

How to Request Deletion of Your Data

To request the permanent deletion of your data from The Sort, please follow the steps below.

Option 1 — Delete directly within the app

  1. Open The Sort app on your device.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Select Account.

  4. Tap Delete My Account.

  5. Confirm your request. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2 — Submit a request by email

  1. Send an email to getintouch@theminimalsort.com with the subject line: Data Deletion Request.

  2. Include the name and email address associated with your account so we can locate your data.

  3. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of your request.

Once your data is deleted, this action cannot be undone. All wardrobe items, styling history, preferences, and account information will be permanently removed from our systems.

Removing The Sort from Facebook

You can also revoke The Sort's access to your Facebook account at any time by visiting your Facebook App Settings, finding The Sort, and selecting Remove. This removes our access to your Facebook data going forward. To delete the data we already hold, please follow one of the options above.
